Formal OPENING CEREMONY @ 10 AM EST + Notes for Teams/ Team-making!!

Hi Folks,

We're SO excited to now have 270+ folks from 28+ countries registered for our Climate Change-Makers Challenge... A BIG WELCOME to all & THANK YOU for making the time to take part!!

Reminder here that our FORMAL OPENING IS THIS SATURDAY, MAY 13TH @ 10 AM EST... We've sent an invite for this to your calendars, with a strong suggestion that at least one person from each team should attend this or a previous info session to make sure that they get key info for our ideathon. As well, to keep track of teams + who's still looking for teammates, some notes:

If You Have a Team: Please complete this Google Form if you have your teammates all sorted (https://forms.gle/nzhCb6VhUr3jAeWw9), with this a MUST for your submission to be considered for the hackathon, as this serves as an eligibility check + helps us with logistics. All teams will be assigned a private Slack channel for organizers to communicate directly with y'all.
If You Don't Have a Team: Please know that there are many others in your boat, and complete this Google Form in case you need help with the process (https://forms.gle/qbiRvqznusQuZ2Bq6), with folks encouraged to also use Devpost + Slack to reach out to others looking for teams. Doing this will get you added to a "free-agents" channel on Slack which is used to help pair folks up.

And finally, to assist in the process, we've added two impromptu team-making sessions:
